Today I will be talking at @kunsthallebadenbaden alongside other fantastic speakers @ja.m.w & @sunny_pfalzy . My Talk „Opposing the gaze/ Owning representation“ will be about how we see Cinema based upon Theories by Manthia Diawara, bell hooks and Jacques Lacan and how one can create visibility within the creative industry. I will be talking about my personal experience as an afrogerman filmmaker, my newest project „Synergie“ and a teeny tiny bit about my favourite show when I was a child: „Nils Holgersson“.
