Well, that didn’t go as planned 😞⛈ The band flew out to Illinois, rented a van and backline gear, drove 3 hours, had a great soundcheck and were in show clothes warming up and ready to play, but there were crazy thunderstorms all afternoon and when lightning kept striking within a few miles of the venue our set finally got cut. (note our sad, sopping wet banner after it got taken down 😭) We were beyond bummed to be right there and not get to perform 😞😞 but on the bright side, it was fun get to go out to the line and meet some of you guys!! And since we had laminated set lists already, we did some #FindingNita in the fairgrounds as well ❤️ Thank you to my amazing band members for always showing up no matter the circumstances, @myilstatefair for having us, to everyone who came out to see us and to @disturbed and their amazing crew for the hospitality- they put on a crushing show even if the track was too muddy to have fans up close (see the last video!) Hope to have the chance to do it again sometime! Up next: my first few days home since May, then off to Brazil next weekend 🇧🇷
