Whisky Season has begun in earnest! ✨ This week marks the unofficial start of our whisky season after a low-key summer, and we had the privilege to learn about the next big Japanese Whisky maker - Kanosuke Distillery ☺️ In the UK to launch its three core whiskies and one UK limited edition, we had founder Yoshitsugu Komasa talk us through his journey and vision to introduce Japanese Whiskies through his long-honed skills in Shochu making ✨πŸ₯ƒ What excited me the most was the use of low pressure distillation and steamed barley technique that was taken from the Komasa family’s Shochu expertise.
