Six things I probably said in therapy this week 👇
1. Thoughts are not facts.
Because when you challenge your thoughts instead of automatically believing them, you create space to respond differently.
2. It’s only a great goal if it’s realistic.
Because setting achievable goals builds confidence and momentum. Unrealistic goals often lead to frustration and self-doubt. Let’s not set you up for failure!
3. That nervous energy you feel isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually good stress. It means your body is preparing you to take action.
Because when you reframe nerves as your body gearing up to help you perform, you turn anxiety into motivation.
4. Something is better than nothing—and after you do it, notice how that feels.
Because small actions create momentum and remind your brain that progress, not perfection, reduces pressure.
5. You’ve got this! I know you do, but now you need to believe you do.
Because confidence comes from evidence, and believing in yourself is what allows that evidence to grow.
6. I know it’s frustrating, and let’s focus on what’s in your control.
Because focusing on what you can change helps you feel empowered instead of overwhelmed.
Which one do you need to hear today? đź’¬
