A “Blood Moon,” also known as a total lunar eclipse, is rising overnight 🌘 It will be visible across the state in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Peak totality is expected at 4:33 a.m. MST, when the Moon will glow a deep red before sunrise. Clear skies are forecast across much of Arizona, creating ideal viewing conditions. This will be the last total lunar eclipse visible from North America until 2029, and no special equipment is needed to view it. 📷 These stunning shots of the Blood Moon over Antelope Canyon are courtesy of our friend @theskydetective #BloodMoon #LunarEclipse #Arizona #ArizonaSky #Space
