We went to the Mountain where only trucks can go, more than 2 hours away drive from my hotel, Usually its the poor working for the rich, once in a while the blessed is working to bless the less. This year was very challenging, since the pandemic shutdown the world really took a big hit specially the poor here in 3rd world. Gas went up in price, the food went up in price, basically everything went up in price. But we chose to give more value to each kid, We blessed over 3000 kids on this 2022 Mission with backpacks, toys, slippers, toothbrushes, notebooks, and every kid and adults got fed a homecooked hot meal that they really appreciated !!!! We travelled the farthest this year to get to the poorest of the poor. sometimes I would catch myself looking at a kids eyes and see how happy they are when they receive our blessings to them, but also once in a while I catch myself staring at their feet, staring at their clothes, their face, many adults don't have teeth anymore, honestly many of the kids that we blessed are so poor that many can't even believe that what we gave them is for them to keep. some even asked me "AKO NI" which means is this for me. when you hear that in their kids voice, I cant help but feel good and say yes this is for you. Every year is special since 2014, 2022 maybe because of the pandemic, We worked the hardest and God truly paved the way, sometimes miracles do happen and the miracle is us. from the bottom of my heart, Thank you all back in the USA and Here in the Philippines who made this Mission Amazing !!!!!
