Today , 8 years ago my mom, Shulamit Aloni, passed away. I can write books of all the good she brought to the world, as the founder of the civil rights movement in Israel, as a feminist and a humanist, who fought for all minorities’ rights who were abused in Israel. But today I woke up feeling like a motherless child (the song she use to sing me as a kid). I was longing to the concrete personal mother who taught me and gave me Radical Grace
