Last week we gathered to celebrate not just our second issue of One Love Paper, our completely free zine packed with recipes and community care information, but also our newly forged partnership with @okofarms, right here in Brooklyn, who is donating fresh, locally-grown produce to our fridge network. Each One Love Paper issue has a special focus, and this issue is recipes for sauces and dips, but also includes circular food waste, and farming. Special thanks to @yatcher, @mediumgreen and all contributors for a beautiful, soulful issue built with love. Oko Farms is a Black woman-owned aquaponic farm and education center on the Brooklyn waterfront, fighting against the effects of climate change of New York by creating sustainable advanced farming methods to close our city’s food gap. We are overjoyed to welcome Oko to the One Love family, and grateful to be able to celebrate together our latest zine edition.
