Shit is getting real!! Excuse the pun 🤪 4 weeks until we land in Morocco ahead of trekking the Sahara Desert. 100km over 5 days with toilet tents at camp and otherwise the great outdoors. Until last September I had never camped in my life...ever. That was a camping site with amenities. This is camping in different remote sites every night for five nights. And I'm excited and also starting to feel the nerves. Temperatures can reach 30 degrees in the day and minus 10 at night 😱 With zero phone reception and away from my family for 8 nights 🥹 This is going to be a challenge and that's before any walking! 🥾 But oh my goodness what an experience it is going to be. I'm so excited to see a part of the world I have never seen. To be with an incredible group of people who are already making me emotional with their reasons for signing up to this trek. And to experience the magic of a @coppafeelpeople @mrsgifletcher trek again. Gi said we need to pack a sense of humour with us and so that's top of the list! Check your boobs & pecs everyone this #breastcancerawarenessmonth and regularly please. And say yes to things even if you feel a little crazy at times stepping out of your comfort zones!
