Two week ago at the @arcteryxacademy , @markhudon55 and I gave a presentation that told two different stories: The first story was a personal recap of our film “Free As Can Be,” and the second was a behind-the-scenes look at my personal struggle to be happy with myself and become who I am today... (i.e. out and proud 💁🏻‍♂️🏳️‍🌈) Originally, “FACB” was going to premier at the Academy in 2020, but because of COVID, we were forced to release it online instead, which wasn’t nearly as much fun.... Regardless, even two years later, it was such an honor for Mark and I to finally be on stage in Pavilion Park and share our story with the Squamish climbing community - you all were incredible! 🙌🏻 This was a big moment for each of us personally, so huge thanks to everyone who showed up to support and cheer us on, we both felt it deeply 🙏🏼❤️ If you haven’t watched the film yet, it’s now FREE on YouTube (link in my bio), and if you’d like to watch a recording of our presentation, also - link in my bio!
