Today with the help of @athletics staff members and @pacificgasandelectric we were able to put some of Tony’s on-field commitments of extra base hits and stolen bases into the ground. The event was part of continued community greening work at the Garretson Point Staging Area site since 2019, addressing air pollution from the Oakland International Airport and surrounding airport business park by creating a vegetative buffer zone between these areas and East Oakland residents.
