This piece 'Terpsichore 1' is the first piece in our Terpsichore series that explores the marriage of digital and organic. What does it mean to play folk music when your native land is a digital one? Each piece is created with sounds that start from instruments such as chamber string orchestra and synths and visuals that we filmed ourselves around the world of various nature (and coming dancers). The sounds and visuals are then slightly manipulated in such a way as to blend what is organic and what is digital, the visuals for 'Terpsichore 1' are slightly animated in a way that you can't tell what is the animation and what is the real footage, same with the sound , it is hard to tell what is organic and what is digitally manipulated.
