The question is , what is the real impact of what we doing? here are some clear and simple statistics: When we held our first UNICEF Gala in 2018, 6.3 million children under 5 years of age died from preventable causes every year. That’s over 17,200 children dying every day. Every single day. Every 24 hours... Now, in 2022, about five years later, 13,000 children die of preventable causes every day.. So we are headed in the right direction. But we still have SO far to go. And we can’t stop until the number of children dying from preventable causes is ZERO.
