I often used to think to myself, “this job is so easy, anyone could do it. We aren't saving lives or curing cancer.” When I tell people I wanted to be a Forensic Accountant for the FBI they ask, “why and how did I end up in Fashion?” My answer is, “Attention to detail. I love patterns whether it's numbers or clothing.” After 16 years I realized it's not that this job is easy, it's that style comes naturally to me. However, I never take my abilities for granted, I am constantly pushing myself to be better and do more. So no I am not saving lives but my work has had a positive impact on people’s lives.
