We’ve been checking out all the amazing trees and wildlife. Tallow Creek is culturally significant to the Arakwal people and is part of the Cape Byron Marine Park. The Arakwal also known as the Bundjalung people are Aboriginal Australians who are the original custodians of the northern coastal area of New South Wales. These coastal wetland rainforests are very rare. The rainforests provide habitats for a number of endangered species, over 90 varieties of bird life, snakes, frogs and more! Forest Bathing (Dadirri) - the act of fully immersing yourself in the rain forest and tapping into its healing abilities; listening to the sounds and absorbing the energy the plants animals and emits.
