FINALLY. The floor is down and this room is done!! This room was the worst in the house when we moved in - five layers of wallpaper total and a textured ceiling. There was a layer of damp proofing wallpaper that wouldn’t come off, a bonus layer of wallpaper beneath the skirtings, and the top layer was put up in the 80s. The room was a wreck so we had it replastered and we’re very lucky that Dad could help us lay the new floor. The green is a very renegade mix between some leftover Leyland Trade shade matched to F&B Breakfast Room Green, with a litre of Dulux Willow Tree. We went literally as cheap as possible but I love it. I’m shattered now, behind on the washing, and the rest of the house is a tip, plus we have to pack for holiday... but very grateful that this room is finally done. Also quite happy that I grew that pothos plant myself from scratch after propagating from an old plant that wasn’t in the best shape, it’s come on so well.
