Michael McGuire is a father and coal miner in central Kentucky. On Oct 22, he went right from working his shift to a Univ. of Kentucky basketball game because he didn’t want his son to miss any of the game. Another fan at the game took photos of McGuire in his sooty coal miner’s outfit, and his story went viral online.
