Part 3/4: PM Routine (B): Retinoids. I want to start with if you are new to retinoids (retinol, retinal, tretinoin/tret (retin a) you should start slow. Maybe 1 night a week and work your way up to see how your skin does. I have been tolerating 4 nights of retinol just fine. Tret is the RX stronger sister to retinol and I can only tolerate IT 1 x per week. So for me, this retinol routine is anywhere from 3-4 nights per week. 1 of those is tret, the other 3 ish is a more gentle retinol. 1. Double cleanse 2. Hyper serum to target melasma/hyperpigmentation 3. Active seal moisturizer is lightweight and further supports melasma/has vitamin c 4. Eye Cream: I do have a little rotation of ones that I like tonite is Lancome. 5. As it’s a Tret night, I like to apply a thick moisturizer and will add tret on top. On a night where I use a retinol instead of tret, I apply my normal moisturizer at this point which is less thick and then retinol on top. 6. Tret or Retinol. I apply a pea size and dot evenly over the face and blend in. 7. Lip Mask 8. Fragrance See you tmro for the final vid!
