A note from Christian - “This is a special moment for me, sharing “MoonFace” for the first time. A project that Bryan Ling and I have been working on for the past five years, this wordless novel has been the most challenging, illuminating and healing artistic experience I’ve ever had. We started it just after I lost my father to Alzheimers and dementia, and “MoonFace” is a response to it. My aim was to honestly, openly gain closure on what was a pretty fractured relationship. The experience of telling this particular story through images – in the process shedding the weight of written communication – has resulted in my most personal offering to date.
