Mere hours after Sudanese-French designer #AbdelElTayeb—a master in the making—bagged his very first win at the 2021 Fashion Trust Arabia awards, Brazilian beauty #AdrianaLima stepped up in front of the lens of Moroccan artist Hassan Hajjaj in some of Tayeb's best creations to date. Besides his mother, the designer cites Sudan’s national dress as a major inspiration behind his unapologetically vibrant creations. “Known as the toub, it is wrapped around the woman’s body in a way that transfixes me; this is the core of my stylistic inspiration.” It was an absolute honour producing this shoot for Vogue Arabia's January 2022 cover with a masterful team.
