I’ve officially moved ❤️ These couple of years have been tough, but I’m so thankful. I’ve learned so many lessons over difficult times, you know... I feel like it’s such an American thing, to say that “what doesn’t kill you make you stronger” (cue Kelly Clarkson voice). In my experience, going through hardships and heartbreak doesn’t always make you stronger. What does stronger mean anyways? Tougher? Less vulnerable? Thicker skin? If that’s what stronger means then I reject becoming stronger. If anything, these troubled times have made me more learned, more compassionate, and more vulnerable. It’s made me appreciate the deep connections in my life, the intricate actions of love that give me the little sparks of life. I can slowly feel myself opening up again, a wisp of optimism. Maybe that’s where I want to go? And I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m open to all experiences! LA will always be home, but for now, I’m trying to find home in myself, in New York ❤️ this wouldn’t be possible without you reading, so I’m thankful for you.
