Brown Butter Sage Mashed Potatoes 🍂🦃✨ Welcome back to another year of everything but the turkey, your guide to elevated thanksgiving sides! Ingredients - • 3 pounds potatoes (russet and gold) • 1-2 bay leaves • 4 cups chicken broth • 8 oz mascarpone cheese • 8 oz salted butter • 1/2 cup half-and-half • 12 sage leaves • salt, to taste 1. Peel and chop potatoes, then add to a large pot with chicken broth and bay leaves. Boil for 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are fork-tender. 2. Drain potatoes, discard bay leaves, and use a potato ricer or masher to achieve a smooth consistency. 3. Fold in mascarpone cheese, half-and-half, and 4 tbsp of butter, mixing until creamy and fully combined. Salt to taste. 4. In a small pan, melt the remaining 4 tbsp butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Add sage leaves and cook until crisp and aromatic. 5.
