Francesco Magisano (@teamfrancescoofficial) is a blind athlete who races and works for Achilles International (@achilles_international), a leading adaptive running nonprofit that transforms the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. 💙🏃‍♂️ After going completely blind over the span of a few weeks, Francesco met a volunteer who encouraged him to join Achilles as a blind runner. Fast forward to the present, Francesco has been on five national podiums for cycling and triathlon, placed 2nd at Tokyo Paralympic cycling trials for the 30K TT, and placed 2nd at the Boston Half Marathon in the Para Division.
