Let’s talk about boobs.... 🍒 This is not a topic I’ve ever spoken about publicly, but this year marks 5 years since my wonderful Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and will impact 1 in 7 women over the course of their lives. Fundraising plays a vital role when it comes to raising awareness and funds for life-saving research, which is why I’m very humbled to announce that I’m an ambassador for The Mother’s Day Classic on May 8th. 🌼💕 This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Mother’s Day Classic and in that time they have donated nearly $40 MILLION to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)! I am so incredibly grateful that thanks to organisations like @mothersdayclassicaus I will be able to take part in this event alongside my beautiful mother as she celebrates her 5 year milestone. (Since 1994, the 5-year survival rate has increased from 76% to 91.5% - statistical proof that this research is making a huge impact) Come join us on Sunday 8th of May to walk or run The Tan and raise funds for this life-saving research.
