On Saturday I’m playing in an anniversary concert. 30 years ago I premiered Sir James MacMillan's trailblazing Percussion Concerto, 'Veni, Veni, Emmanuel', and I’m back to perform that work for a special anniversary performance in Glasgow City Halls with the @bbcsso and Martyn Brabbins. Premiering this piece at the @royalalberthall with the @scottishchamberorchestra on 10th August 1992 is a real highlight of my performance career... here are photos of some of the solo part.
