We travel to feel small. To get lost. To wrap our tongues around an unfamiliar language. To come up short and smile apologetically and say “I’m new here, but I’m trying”. So perhaps in fact we travel to be children again. To be forgiven for our ignorance and welcomed at the table anyway. Nowhere is more welcoming to children (young & old) than Italy. ✨🇮🇹
