‘Kano’, the first single of Mira Kendô (@mirakendo) has just been released. For me personally, more then a single or an album, Mira Kendô has been a 5-year process of learning and interacting with music and friends from Guiné Bissau. It is a dive into a culture that extends now into my family and kids. These years have unveiled histories, personalities, relationships, deep struggles and beautiful connections, sometimes touched by a spark of almost magical synchronicity. The album ‘Mira Kendô’ will be out on November 8th.
