The final day of #secondhandseptember - I found this incredible vintage pink John Charles taffeta skirt yesterday in my favourite charity shop, Debra in East Horsley. It reminds me so much of the one from the SS2011 Jil Sander show which I have ALWAYS wanted. I’m going file this away for summer because I love the idea of wearing it exactly like this with a (wrinkled) white t shirt. When I found it on the rail I got that kind of heart lurch of excitement, Alfie concurrently had his first ever full on tantrum because he’d seen a vintage wooden ferris wheel and wanted to play with it. The women in the shop were so kind and trying to placate him. The placation came in the form of a gifted broken egg timer and some very kind words. I mean, you don’t get a free egg timer at PLT do you. #choosepreloved
