💛 I rang the bell at the hospital this morning because I’ve finally finished my cancer treatment. The nurses stood around and clapped and I thought I’d cry but we were all laughing and then they had to get on with their day and I said thank you, thank you and they said they hoped they’d never see me again. Afterwards we drove to part of the Yorkshire coast that has high cliffs and no barriers and there’s a lighthouse at the end where you can get a cup of tea and baked beans on toast. On a bad day back in August I bought myself a camera for motivation because it promised to take photos of the moon but the sea is a good second best for a first trip out, we’ve both been stuck in a box for too long. You have to be monitored for a while and there’s appointments and things but I’m so grateful that this part is over. Thank you so much for holding me. Now let’s go capture the moon 🌝
