Repost• @nutritionbytara I passed my glucose test! 🎉 After many weeks of tracking my blood sugar at home, I'm thankful to have my official results and know I can finally put away my blood sugar monitor. Typically in the U.S., the glucose screening is done between weeks 24-28 of pregnancy. I did my 1-hour glucose test at around 28 weeks. 💕 I knew going into this test I wanted to use a more natural glucose option since my body is sensitive and I have food allergies. I do best with clean foods + beverages that contain few ingredients and are minimally processed. Over the years, I've heard so many gals share their experiences using the @thefreshtest , so I knew it was something I wanted to research and try. Things that I love about it: ✨It is an approved diagnostic glucose beverage ✨Meets the requirements set by the ADA ✨Non-GMO + gluten free + vegan ✨Contains no additives, dyes, artificial flavoring, or preservatives ✨And so much more Once I chatted with my doctor, I placed an order online for my kit. I took it to my appointment on the day of my screening, and LabCorp took care of the rest. The drink was super tasty (it tastes just like lemonade), and I felt good afterward. 🫶🏻 The process was super simple, and I had a great experience using the kit. Overall, I hope this is a little reminder that we have options and there are alternatives out there. 💗 As always, do what feels right for you and your body.
