I am extremely honored to be a part of the 35th Hispanic Heritage Awards on PBS this Friday September 30th. I will be playing drums for the brilliant Cuban singer-songwriter Hector Tellez Jr. @hectortellezjr along with my good friend Peter Buck of R.E.M. @rem on guitar and Dune Butler @generalmojos on bass. I recently produced Hector's debut album, which Peter and Dune play on, along with Krist Novoselic of Nirvana. Hector's first single, "Silver Blue Jellyfish" (the song we'll be playing live) will also be released on September 30th.
