@valenciabottega is a trendy Italian spot in SF. It’s just over in the Mission and it’s one of the most aesthetic restaurants I’ve been to, plus the food here is amazing. We started with some drinks: The Massive, which is a smoky whisky cocktail, and the Gossip which is a vodka cocktail with blue curacao. For appetizers, we got an arugula salad, fried brussel sprouts (my favorite), and calamari. Then we dove into the mains. We started with the special of the day which is this risotto with veal, and the meat was so tender. Then we got the sachetti , which is pasta filled with italian cheeses, fresh pear, walnuts, and gorgonzola. It was definitely my favorite main dish. Next we got the gnocchi with pesto, prosciutto pizza romana, I suggest ordering this with burrata on top, and the Branzino. This is such a cozy spot for a rainy day in the bay.
