West Tiger One Winter Magic Yesterday I took the Cable Line up to West Tiger Three and then the TMT on to Tigers Two and One. After leaving West Tiger Three I was hiking in the clouds, mist and fog. Snow now lightly falling, it was eerily silent with mostly the sound and the sight of my feet to look at as I used my GPS to guide me. But then at Hiker Hut and West Tiger One the clouds broke momentarily with the sun pushing between the clouds. My eyes gravitated to this vine maple whose symmetry was beautifully defined with the help of the snow and wonderful winter light. Looking out my window right now with the snow heavily falling, I can only imagine what this area looks like now. Perhaps soon it will be time for a return trip!
