So I’m flying from NYC to Buffalo today, heading for the Chautauqua Institution to give a lecture tomorrow - and while I’m in transit, something very exciting is landing. For the last few years, I’ve been working with @audible and Whistledown on a dramatic adaptation of The Electricity of Every Living Thing, and it finally launches today. This is very different to the normal audiobook - it’s scripted by @percyparsnips, acted by an amazing cast (including Philomena’s Amy McAllister as me 😳) and directed by Cat Shoobridge, who has created an immersive binaural soundscape. It even has an original soundtrack, composed by Calum Perrin. It really is so, so special, and that’s largely because it’s a neurodivergent production through-and-through. I hope is shows what we bring - creativity, integrity, astonishing attention to detail and innovation. Even the gorgeous artwork is by autistic illustrator @petite_gloom.
