My friend @jeffstaple just launched a collab with @tumitravel and asked for my views on travel. Travel inspires me by removing the familiar and forcing close attention to the otherwise mundane, a change in mindset is created. There is something special about physically being somewhere new and fully engaging your senses and mind. This summer marks three years of living in Japan, and for me, there has been no better place to get a change of perspective. I am grateful for the inspiration I find in the small quiet moments and the epic ones.
