Cointreau Cranberry Sauce with Jalapeño 🦃🔥 p.3 of my annual Everything But the Turkey series! This is the sweet, spicy, and citrusy side you didn’t know you needed this Thanksgiving! Ingredients - • 12 oz fresh cranberries, washed and sorted • 1/2 cup water • 1/2 cup maple syrup • 1/2 cup brown sugar • 1 small jalapeño, sliced • 1 orange • 1 cinnamon stick • 1/4 tsp ginger • 1/4 cup cointreau Instructions - 1. Wash and soak cranberries in water with a touch of baking soda then rinse well. 2. Slice and soak jalapeño in cold water for a few minutes to reduce heat. 3. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, water, maple syrup, brown sugar, and jalapeño. Stir well. 4. Add the cinnamon stick, ginger, and orange zest. 5. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes until cranberries begin to burst. 6.
