It’s Black History Month and today we are celebrating another hero Trevor Noah. @trevornoah is a South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host, born in the black township of Soweto in South Africa. He began his career in South Africa where he had several hosting roles and in 2010 he created his own late-night talk show - Tonight with Trevor Noah. In 2015 he succeeded long-time host Jon Stewart on the daily show, making him the first African to host prime-time show on American TV. His autobiographical comedy book Born a Crime was Audible’s highest rated audiobook of 2016, and has remained one of the top selling titles on Audible since its release. In 2018 he launched the Trevor Noah foundation, a youth development initiative that enhances youth preparedness for higher education or entry into the workforce. Trevor Noah has won various awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award from eleven nominations.
