My thoughts on the Jessi Combs Doc - for what they are worth - hopefully this answers some of the questions I’m getting . Unfortunately I’m being pushed to talk about the Documentary coming out about Jessi and I need to address a few things. . Thank You to everyone who have reached out on the documentary both good and bad. I keep getting asked the same questions and need to stress that I’m sorry if you were mislead when interviewed, the anger is being misdirected towards me, I did NOT have anything todo with the documentary and I am NOT the one who profited from it. If I would have been involved it would have been done entirely different. . I have no doubt that some of the footage is amazing and that some of the story will be great, but I agree with many of you, and find it very sad that the narrative was made what it was and that this wasn’t used to do the maximum good it could of as she intended. . I also find it insanely selfish and distasteful that the accident footage was used in the film - the only reason for that is to get views and make money! No one who truly cared about her would have ever signed off on that! . In addition, it is very convenient that after all the efforts by so many in the land speed community to voice the safety concerns of the car. After the countless emails (which I do still have) and concerns between Jessi, myself and the team wanting to add safety and being denied, as well as the incompetence the year before and on that final run - that non of what actually resulted in her no longer being here is being told???
