Does this photo make me look like an author? 👀⁣ ⁣ Because ya girl wrote her first children’s book 📕 whaaaaa?! ⁣ I had the unique opportunity to work on my first book 📖 and I had no idea that it would end up being one for the kids, but like most things in life, it was just right and now this book baby is ready to come to life! ⁣ ⁣ If you know anything about publishing books, pre-sales are HUGE for authors and help to get the book finished and out to the people. ⁣ ⁣ It IS a huge desire for me to see this book go into homes for so many reason because: ⁣ ⁣ 📚 more books featuring Black and brown children on the shelves is important ⁣ ⁣ 📚 this is a book about team work and overcoming self-doubt, being gritty and not giving up, relatable topics that anyone can make a connection to.⁣ ⁣ 📚 This story features my babies, Wisdom, Courage and Glory as the main characters and is a legacy piece for our family⁣ ⁣ 📚 I have unbelievably BIG dreams....
