***HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!*** I am feeling so much love and gratitude for my Mama today for carrying me, birthing me, raising me and always being a phone call away. Now that I’m a Mama, I know first hand just how hard that job was/is and I’m so incredibly grateful for you Mom. Your love and commitment to care for those around you is endless. You taught me at a young age that it takes a village and boy did I end up with the best village! My grandmothers and great grandmothers were all tough as nails who faced many obstacles in life. They taught me how to love fiercely with conviction, dedication and intentionality. They also taught me how to cook, play solitaire, make a perfect bed, laugh at myself and to not take any shit, ha! To my godmother aka my Aunt Rhonda, thank you for always being there for me, for always having an open door and an empty seat at the table. The way you raised all the kiddos around you has been such an inspiration to me. To my sons Glamma’s, Kristi and Sara, thank you for providing me with a safe and loving place to come out at 17. You’ve been there for me through all of my girl problems (A-Z), my career changes, my physical moves, my financial moves and more. Now you two are showing up like absolute saints to care for me and my family, thank you. To the nun, Venerable Robina, the time we spent going deep into the “mud” in various cities and countries around the world changed the trajectory of my life in such monumental ways. I’ll never forget the first time I met you in Marin and you invited me to meet you in Nepal and Tibet merely two weeks later... most people know I quit my job and met you there at 25 years old!
