READ THE CAPTION: 👇🏽 I’ve been writing about skincare & beauty for over fifteen years and it still amazes me how so many people rely on lotions and potions without getting the basics right first. Your skin is the body’s largest organ and often manifests what’s going on inside. You gotta nourish to flourish when it comes to skincare - and all the basics are vital: water, sleep, a minimal stress environment and a good diet, as free as possible from processed foods. Once the basics are in place then - and only then - is it time to start to look at the right combination of products for topical treatments. Some might prefer über natural ranges and others, the more scientific cosmeceuticals. Each to their own. And tweakments are up to the individual too... but even if Botox is keeping you beautiful, it’s still important to put the groundwork into cellular level nutrition with water & diet. I’m sure I’m not the first beauty writer (or therapist, or clinician, or dermatologist) to answer the “whats the best moisturiser for my skin?” with a “How much water do you drink in a day?” (also coffee, wine etc)... but I’ll keep saying it until the cows come home... #SkinFromWithin is the most glowing kind of skincare ✨💫
