tassel turned & chapter closed! i couldn’t be more grateful for the confidence i’ve been equipped with, that’s allowed me to defy social standards and societal norms. the best decisions of my life, have always been on the other side of fear. my high school experience wasn’t typical, but i’ve never been one to settle for “typical.” in the last four years, i’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work on two social media marketing teams. over the course of that year, i became utterly enthralled with the industry to say the least. i went on to build a platform of 90,000 people, which has allowed me to use my voice, to build a career that i never thought would be in the cards for me. all it took, was one person believing in my 14 year old self, to completely change the trajectory of my life. i was fortunate enough to be able to pay for my first car in cash, had all the flexibility to travel the world, became incredibly financially independent, maintained a 4.0 gpa, while having skipped a grade and keeping up with a full time job. i found purpose, i found confidence, and i found a voice that i plan on amplifying to reach the thousands. as for high school, i won’t miss it! but i will cherish what i’ve been able to accomplish throughout it, because im walking in what i once prayed for. i would go to lengths to tell my eighth grade self that life didn’t end when God closed the door on public school, it was just starting. time to find my dream apartment in dallas, continue to educate myself, see the world, walk in my purpose, and continue to live out my dream! onto bigger & better!
