As I said in a previous post, today marks 20 years of me working with Billy Talent! A lot has changed since then (besides the hair). One major difference is the first shoot was at the Rehearsal Factory where the band rented a small space. The most recent shoot (featured in this post) was done at their own recording studio / rehearsal space / home away from home. And since 2002, Billy Talent has gone from modest local punk band to Worldwide arena and festival headliners! A similarity between the two shoots is that it was just me and the band. In 2002 they didn’t have a label, and there were no assistants, stylists, hair & makeup, etc... Most recently, we shot during the pandemic and didn’t want any extra people around, so once again it was just me and the band (and masks).
