Meet Grateful Pet, Skip! 💙 When Skip arrived at @gilescountyshelter in Tennessee, he was in rough shape — dragging his front leg, likely after being hit by a car. He was in pain, but still wagged his tail and leaned in for love. As the shelter team said, he just wanted help. 🫶 With a limited county budget, the cost of the surgery Skip needed was beyond their reach, and they were faced with a tough decision to stop his suffering. During a recent shelter visit @cathy_bissell met Skip and knew BISSELL Pet Foundation could step in to help. Through a Grateful Pet Grant, Skip received the life-saving amputation surgery he needed to live comfortably and pain-free. Skip is resilient, joyful, and a beautiful reminder of why we do this work. 🐾
