What’s your sneaker story? Growing up, I could never afford any of my own. I’d always ask to borrow @acupofmish to wear during school events. & tho they were bigger in size, I’d still wear it wobblin’ around. I was 17 when @khangaroo_ talked me into finally buy my first pair, the 2012 Jordan 11 breds (& still with me). I was so hyped.. I told everyone from the moment I ordered to posting it on every social platform when I got them. I ended getting hate on it that I was jumping on the sneaker move. I lost a few friendships & it ultimately made me stray away from it. (my tween dumb ahh mentality caring about what people thought 😅) It wasn’t until I was 23 that Christian reintroduced me. Showed me different pairs of 1s & color ways. He pulled me out of my monochromatic closet & brought out color in my life. & from there, it’s been collecting every single favorite pair to talking to people about how to get started with sneaker wearing. & its all been love over here! ** If you love something so much, don’t let anyone or thing discourage you from it. Whether you started rockin ya shit yesterday or decades ago, love the game & don’t hate on no one that comes after. Everybody got a story. Thanks @angiejustshootme for help telling mine.
