With the new content each week, I’m trying to awaken the investigator in you. That inner child who constantly questions the world around them. That’s why children are so ready to learn and adapt: they are willing to put things into question. They haven’t yet formed the habit of growing accustomed to certain ways of existing. Tapping into that inner investigator will help to fuel creativity in your own life. The part of you that is forever lit up by the quest of the new. I want you to be curious to meet the new choreography each week. To take it move by move, accepting the flow of becoming more in tune with yourself. The longer you embrace the practice, the hungrier your investigator becomes. Your body will develop a desire and a curiosity for the new. Here’s the thing about the investigator mindset: the investigator doesn’t presume to know what they’re going to find, and doesn’t have any rigid expectations. The investigator is excited about the unknown, excited about the many possibilities, and open to the evolving nature of growth. It’s like any great tale of greed and vanity: the restless ones who embark on journeys purely to reach a certain destination are constantly unsatisfied, and end up losing to the power of open mindedness, generosity, and gratitude.
