Happy Mother’s Day. This year, it carries a whole new meaning. I woke up this morning to the biggest, toothy smile from my son—a true pinch me moment. Thank you, Kelly, for making me a mommy. Thank you, Action, for being my best girl. And thank you to my momma, for being the most incredible example of what I strive to be. Thank you to my family for your unconditional love. And especially thank you to my two younger sisters— this season of life has been made even more special by going through it alongside with you and I’ve loved watching you become mommies. To all the amazing moms and aunties around me—thank you. Whether you cooked us a meal, answered a 3am text, or tried to take him for walk— he doesn’t love a stroller lol. I am so grateful. Your support is majorly appreciated. I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on how lucky we are. I’m doing my best to be present in this incredibly precious time. It’s true what they say—time is flying faster than ever. How has it already been 10 months? Just like my pregnancy, I’ve loved all the different phases—the changes, the surprises, the learning. Of course, there have been hard moments—really hard ones—but every single challenge has been met with a hundred times more joy. Like when he looks up at me, reaches out, and gives me that huge, perfect smile. It’s the look that is everything and happiness and perfection all rolled into one.
