@esteelauder 2021 🤍 This 1 hits a lil differently. When we shot this, I was in a very fragile place emotionally. Trying to find the balance between grieving & allowing myself to move on. I felt so out of place & like who was I kidding? Lil brown girls w my story don’t belong in “this” world. But I also knew how badly I wanted it. & how hard I worked to get there. I stepped away, cried a *few* thug tears, & got back to work before anyone could notice. So now, to see this beautiful campaign full of amazing, awe-inspiring women, I’m overcome. Joy. Pride. Amazement. Belonging. I am exactly where I am meant to be, doing the things I am meant to do. I hope you can see this, Brother. & I hope you’re proud of me. I’m proud of me. Xo
