Before entering a new year, we paused to give our time and energy where it matters most. Service Month is a Next Legacy tradition that brings our team together around a shared intention and reaffirms our values through action, not just reflection. We kicked things off with a canned food drive and donation in support of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, helping provide meals to families facing food insecurity in our community. The following week, we collected gently used coats for One Warm Coat to help children and families stay warm this winter. In week three, our team took part in our annual shopping spree for Family Giving Tree’s Holiday Wish Drive, fulfilling wish lists with gifts and essential items for children and families in need. We wrapped up the month with a hands-on build alongside the Stanford chapter of Tikkun Olam Makers, assembling toddler mobility trainers that support young children in building strength, confidence, and independence. Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make this season one of meaning. We’re grateful to close out the year grounded in purpose and to step into the next with even more heart.
