A few shots from a Midi-Plan-Midi traverse today. I’d only done this traverse once before, six years ago, and I’m not sure why I don’t do it more often - It’s a lovely tour, and a good, mellow objective if one wants to acclimatize a bit. Things can certainly change, but based on how melted the mountains are already, and based on the long-range weather forecasts (which of course aren’t very reliable), I am worried that the Massif du Mont Blanc will be in quite ugly condition by the end of this coming summer... 😕 @patagonia_climb @petzl_official @scarpaspa @totemmt
